All About Tik-Tok and VSCO
In todays blog we will be talking about the two apps Tik-Tok and VSCO. These apps are very popular amongst Gen-Z.
Tik-Tok
Tik Tok originally started in China. Tik Tok has about 800 million active users a day and has been ranked as the #1 most downloaded app in the app store, coming in at 33 million downloads. About 41 percent of Tik Tok users are aged between 16 and 24. About 90% of these users visit the app daily and are usually on for about an hour. Tik Tok is also available in 155 countries and 75 languages. Tik Tok is an app that you can share fun videos on. These videos can be lip syncing, building your brand, and much much more. Tik Tok has only been up for a couple years and has already grown much, who knows what is yet to come.
VSCO
Vsco is a photo/photography sharing app. You can take photos, edit the pictures, and then post! The app has presets, presets allow you to change the photo filters adjusting brightness, color balance, and saturation to create specific effects. Users can also customize these presets or make their own. VSCO is not only used for itself. Last year over 200 million posts on instagram were under the hashtag #vscocam, meaning they were edited under VSCO. There is not only editing on VSCO you can also look at your feed. Your feed is where you can see other followers posts, with the posts you can repost them or save them to your collection. Next is the discover page. This pe is where VSCO puts a bunch of aesthetically pleasing pictures that fit just to your liking and interest. You could also call it the recommended. Vsco is a great app to use if you want to see others posts and want to post for yourself but you want less of the media.
